Expressing thirty days of gratitude is wonderful. However, out of that gratitude let’s also focus on 30 days of serving and sharing. Some folks concentrate on this in November, but we can put this project into practice at any point during the year. In this post, our focus is on doling out goodness and kindness.

In LOVE IS KIND, by Laura Sassi, there’s a precious little owl in pursuit of the perfect gift for Grammy’s birthday—a heart-shaped box of chocolates. But Little Owl’s trip to Chipmunk’s Chocolate Shoppe is anything but smooth. This beautiful picture book will delight children ages four-to-eight years old. French artist, Lison Chaperon, gives attention to every detail in the adorable illustrations. I love how she weaves verses from the “love chapter,” 1 Corinthians 13, into her illustrations of a stream, over a hearth, in the petals of a sunflower, and other special places.
