Creation Museum Family Trip: 2021 Review
Are you considering a visit to the Creation Museum in northern Kentucky? Here’s my review of our family trip in 2021. Of course, every experience is different for everyone, depending on the day and circumstance, but I hope you’ll find what I share helpful. Even though I’m sharing plenty of photos, I’ll not go into detailed descriptions of the exhibits. This post focuses more on where we stayed, specific things we did at the museum, and even includes a wheelchair perspective. Friends told us if we plan to spend the night, book early. THE HIDDEN VILLAGE: Book review
If you’re searching for an early chapter book for young elementary students, then check out this book review of THE HIDDEN VILLAGE. Also, this book makes a great read-aloud for groups of multiple ages, including the family. Let’s learn a bit about the author and explore what can be found in THE HIDDEN VILLAGE.

(Plus, we have several photos to share with you of how we're celebrating!)

In fact, we often talk here about why we can’t do things by ourselves! However, I’m sharing a few things we’re learning during our latest family project. For several months we’ve been gutting our old barn and revamping it into a “new” rustic place to gather with friends and family. My last post dug into cleaning the clutter. During those grueling days of cleaning, it helped to daydream about the changes I envisioned for…

Should We Alter Our Christmas Traditions?
The holidays are here and many folks are asking the same question, “Should we alter our Christmas traditions this year?” Every December, I purchase a new calendar for the upcoming year. Immediately, I pen in people’s birthdays and the rest of our traditional activities for the year. Do you do something similar? Last December, did you pen in all of this year’s festivities and family gatherings? There was no need to use a pencil because the traditions have always been celebrated the same way every year. Right? But, now! The calendar has been violated with red slashes, arrows, and scribbles. People are making changes. Some are cancelling events altogether. That’s…
