If you know a third – fifth grader who isn’t crazy about reading or history, then introduce them to Ben Franklin’s in My Bathroom! This is one of those books that even slightly older students will enjoy. My son was in the eighth grade when this book was published. He wasn’t a big fan of reading, and like most kids, he didn’t like history unless it was presented in an interesting manner. Teaching Children About Face Masks Brings Comfort
Teaching children about face masks brings them comfort when they encounter others wearing them and when they must wear one. The first time my two-year-old grandson saw me in a face mask he was unusually quiet. It took him a little while to warm up to me. Whether it’s due to coronavirus or another health issue, as children venture out, they will encounter people wearing masks. It’s one thing to see a physician wear one, but it can be perplexing to a young child who sees the grocery store clerk, the pizza delivery guy, and even Grandma wearing a face mask.
