LOVE IS KIND by Laura Sassi- Book Review & Giveaway
In LOVE IS KIND, by Laura Sassi, there’s a precious little owl in pursuit of the perfect gift for Grammy’s birthday—a heart-shaped box of chocolates. But Little Owl’s trip to Chipmunk’s Chocolate Shoppe is anything but smooth. This beautiful picture book will delight children ages four-to-eight years old. French artist, Lison Chaperon, gives attention to every detail in the adorable illustrations. I love how she weaves verses from the “love chapter,” 1 Corinthians 13, into her illustrations of a stream, over a hearth, in the petals of a sunflower, and other special places.

by Sally Matheny With all the pressures of the world, the day-to-day stresses of school and other responsibilities, young women and teen girls will appreciate the encouragement offered in ADORED. Each page begins with a scripture verse, followed by a short, but solid, devotion relevant for today’s young women.
